Detail-oriented and organized, the full-time Bookkeeper will manage day-to-day accounting for nonprofit clients, including transaction recording, reconciliations, and accounts payable/receivable in a remote work environment. Key Responsibilities Record transactions, code expenses, and maintain accurate general ledgers for assigned nonprofit clients Process vendor bills, prepare invoices, record deposits, and follow up on outstanding balances Complete monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly Required Qualifications 1-3 years of relevant bookkeeping or transactional accounting experience Familiarity with nonprofit accounting principles and basic GAAP is a plus Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel; QuickBooks ProAdvisor certification is a plus Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus, but relevant experience is prioritized
